Marina Cuca Franović was born in Kotor, where she received primary and secondary music education. During her high school years, she completed majors in both music theory and solo singing, studying with Professor Mirela Šćasni.
She began her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Professor Radmila Smiljanić, and in her second year, she continued her education at the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of the famous Professor Ljiljana Molnar Talajić, from whom she graduated.
As part of the opera studio, she performed notable roles, including Michaela in the opera "Carmen", Donna Anna in the opera "Don Giovanni", and Jelena in the opera "Nikola Šubić Zrinski" (Kazalište Komedija - Zagreb).
She is known for her performances in Montenegro and has participated in numerous performances and events in Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, and Austria.
After her studies, she was a member of the choir of the Croatian Radio Television in Zagreb (HRT).
Successful in her pedagogical work with students, she has won awards at national and international competitions.
Since 2004, she has been a professor of solo singing at the Art School for Music and Ballet "Vasa Pavić" in Podgorica.
