Aleksandar Peković is the director and artistic director of the Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade, the oldest and most significant cultural and artistic foundation in this area, dating back to 1878.
He graduated in Film and TV Production from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he also obtained a master's degree. He is the co-founder and director of "Arteria Creative Network," an institute for creative industries in the Western Balkans with its center in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is the founder and CEO of the concert agency "Coda Artists," an international agency for artistic music dedicated to supporting the development of artists' careers and the realization of concerts and tours. He organized the performance of the RTS Symphony Orchestra in Shanghai, China, as well as concerts by famous artists such as Plácido Domingo, Martha Argerich, Elīna Garanča, The Queen's Six, and others.
He is the author and director of projects in the field of culture and creative industries in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Italy. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including deputy secretary for culture of the city of Belgrade, president of the "October Salon" committee, director of the Music Production at RTS, and lecturer at the Faculty of Philology and Arts - Filum, University of Kragujevac. He is the author and producer of several series, publications, television programs, and series. He has received several domestic and international awards and recognitions. He is a member of the "World.Minds" community, as well as the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Serbia. He is interested in music, writing, gastronomy, and running - he completed the original marathon (42km 195m) in Athens, Greece, in 2017.
